Lake Cities United Methodist Men's Group (UMM)

Methodist Men are alive and WELL at Lake Cities UMC. The Lake Cities United Methodist Men (UMM) meet monthly for fellowship, Christian support, male bonding and service projects. Men need a place where they can feel comfortable discussing life’s daily pressures of jobs, finding a spouse, marriage, raising children, etc. We welcome any Methodist Men who have graduated High School or beyond and who want to continue to grow on their Journey of Faith.

Joining UMM

All that is required, is that you show up and shake some hands.  (See meeting times below).

Meetings

We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Youth Lounge (Sanctuary building, east wing at end of hallway, take stairs upstairs).

The first hour of each meeting will be dedicated toward UMM 'business' regarding the work of our group.  The second hour (7:30pm) will be focused on Bible Study, devotionals, etc to help Men talk to Men about today's issues.  PLEASE come join us at 7:30pm - we can all help each other grow.  See you next month!

History

The Lake Cities United Methodist "Guys" have been in fellowship (informally) since April 19th, 2005.

The LCUMC UMM voted to charter the organization officially as UMM on February 10, 2011.
