Meet the Pastor

Rev. Charles “Chuck” Church

Chuck is a South Texas guy who graduated from high school in the small border town of Mission, Texas. After high school he sought out a degree in engineering from Texas A&M University, however, the tragic collapse of the Aggie Bonfire of 1999 refocused his life to a call of ministry in the church. He would eventually earn a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.

He has served over 20 years in various ministry settings in the United Methodist Church. He is passionate about helping the church and its people find their calling. He believes that helping others find their calling is a major key to church growth.

He is married to his beautiful wife of 19 years, Michelle. She currently works in Allen ISD with special needs children. They have two sons, Connor and Hayden. Connor is a senior in the nation’s largest high school marching band, The Allen Escadrille. Hayden will be going into the 6th grade and is a spitfire of energy.

Chuck is an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Astros, and of course the Texas A&M Aggies. In his spare time, he enjoys adventures with his family, cooking Texas BBQ, and playing golf.
